First of all, thank you for all of your patience, dear players.

For the past month, Uploaded has been in a state of transition, and with the beginning of November, the game has switched hands once more. Following this shift in leadership roles and organization, Uploaded’s players, current setting, and plot have unfortunately been left in limbo. As such, the new mod team feels it imperative to contact our players and discuss the coming changes:

Mod Updates

Karen has stepped down as headmod. Jas has taken her place, joined by Jada to form the current mod team. With our combined experience - Jas was one of the headmods of Monad a few years ago, and Jada has had mod duties previously in forum rps - we hope that we can help to create a wonderful experience for you with Uploaded.

In the interest of maintaining the game’s depth of content, we will also be opening applications for those interested in joining the mod team. If you are interested, please fill out the following form and post it to the Mod Contact Page.

Future of the Game

Transitions between mods, have left the current setting and plot neglected. Since an entirely new mod team has been formed, we feel as if it would be best to move on to an entirely new setting. As such, we have decided to end the run of the current setting and temporarily close the game for the month of November.

During this time, players may continue to finish up threads that take place in the Mist setting. CR and knowledge gained by characters during the Mist setting may be retained. The sudden end of the Mist setting will be ICly explained as as a system glitch, which will end the simulation and launch characters into a new setting.

On December 1st the game will be reopened as Uploaded 2.0, and the next setting will go live. A TDM with prompts for the new setting will open on November 17th. Applications will open November 25 and run until November 29. The new CR meme will open November 30th and then the new setting event will open the evening of December 1st.

For ease of planning, we have listed these dates below:

November 4 - November 11 (11:59 PM EST [GMT -5]) - Mod Applications

November 17th - New Test Drive
November 25th - November 29 (11:59 PM EST [GMT -5]) - Applications Open
November 30th - CR Meme
December 1st - New Setting + Opening Event

Those who are currently in the game will not need to re-app.

Check-In Post

Instead of AC for the month of October/November, we will be doing a check-in post. Those who are still interested in being involved with Uploaded will need to check-in to avoid being swept. If you are swept, you are welcome to re-app when the game re-opens.
